VACATION

I am going to be out of town with my wonderful family on vacation. All emails will be returned August 19th as I will have limited internet access! We will be enjoying the pool, the sun, Brainerd lakes area & all the fun that comes with our family vacations as every summer. This year there will be a brand new baby, 3 almost 3 year olds, 2 pre- teens, one teenager with a permit, 6 adults including myself, my wonderful dad….our amazing mom will be there in spirit as she always is & GG….my grandma…my kids great grandma! Should be an amazing time! Let’s hope for great weather, well behaved kids & lots of fun! Oh & maybe some relaxing time?

This first picture is my mom making malts with my middle daughter…we actually have stayed at this same place every year now! Miss you like crazy mom!

This next picture is my parents with their grandkids at Bar Harbor….one of our favorite places to go! Check out the dates….the best I could do tonight!

I better do a better job this year at capturing our vacation to show you all! I am off to pack bags! Wish me luck with the relaxing thing! I know the kids are oh so excited so I better get packing!

Happy Birthday Carissa

My oldest daughter turns 11 today! I honestly can not believe it! She seems to be growing up way too quickly before our eyes! She makes me SO proud to be her mom. Not only is she a beautiful girl but she makes us laugh all the time & is for sure the entertainer of our family. She has just the sweetest heart! I captured this beautiful picture of her last summer! I LOVE all the wonderful colors…

Funny capture

*I am sticking with my theme for Sundays…“All about Family”…cuz that is what Sundays are all about…hanging with the family!

Here is one of my first shots with my new lens <50mm 1.8> that I captured of my kids at the park this past summer. It was a beautiful sunny day with this gorgeous green grass & a typical situation when I try to capture all *FOUR* of my kids….for some reason my baby girl always wants to act up…give or take the situation! I was all excited to capture some kind of wonderful & this happens….Kind of a funny capture…I thought! <I did end up capturing many wonderful moments after this episode though as always! ; }>

On another note…I attended a Girls Night Out showcase on Friday night in Lake Park, Minnesota where I grew up. It was a wonderful turnout & I was so excited to meet all kinds of new potential clients. I am looking forward to hearing from the many that I chatted with this fun evening. I belive it is going to be a BUSY & fun summer meeting all kinds of new people! I am beyond excited to see where this spring/summer will take my passion of photography…living my dream! Thank you to all of you who believe in my passion as well & to those of you interested in my photography. It is a true honor & I REALLY *L*O*V*E* doing this & it shows through in my photographs as well!

Sunday=Family Time

Sunday…all about family

I captured these fun shots of my own kids this summer when I first got my new lens <50mm 1.8>….LOVE this lens! I was so excited about the new lens so we took off to the park where all the beautiful flowers were in full bloom & the grass was as green as can be! I really love all the beautiful colors in these pictures so please SPRING hurry up & get here! I am quite frankly sick of all the white stuff on the ground. ; }

My Twins

The other day after bath time I dressed the twins up in some fun little clothes & we had ourselves a little photo session in my bedroom. Just as they were getting antsy… <heaven forbid they sit still long enough for me to capture some of them together>…their sisters walked in the door from school & this is what happened…..

**My sweet, handsome little boy…He gives me kisses on his own every day & tells me, “I wuv you mommy”….OFTEN! He melts my heart!

**My baby girl princess…She truly lives up to the name too! She loves to dance & sing…very funny, sweet little girl! She amazes me!

~Loved these two pictures & liked the b & w with color just for FUN….

I feel so blessed….Have a nice weekend!

My princess

I captured this beautiful shot of my baby girl yesterday. She is known as “princess” around our house & she certainly does the name well! I have many more to post of her along with her twin brother soon. I had to share this one because it’s just so precious of her! Stay tuned for some more super sweet captures of my little princess along with her prince of a brother soon!
