Can it really be here already? Man the holidays came & went way too quick! I can not simply believe my kids are back to school & I am back to editing the sessions that I had over the holidays.

I am thankful for each & everyone of you that has expressed interest in my photography. I look forward to what 2012 will bring for myself, my family & of course Mandey Marie Photography. I truly love what I do but I do this all by myself which is hard at times. Scheduling, editing, my website, facebook & just day to day work. I know my kids seen me at the computer ALOT this year. Which is something I want to change. I always said I would work at night once they went to bed but being a stay at home mom with 4 year old twins….does not always work that way.  With all this said…I plan to make 2012 a great one with many changes in my lifestyle, many changes in the handling of business for Mandey Marie Photography to only better myself & all of my wonderful clients.

We had a wonderful christmas with family & I can not begin to tell you how amazing it was to see my kids faces this year opening all their awesome gifts! We are thankful beyond belief!

Then this was the back of our card….totally my kids!! The oldest & my youngest are just silly & exactly alike! My middle 2 are a little more reserved & alot alike….hehe!

Hi all! I just wanted to say I will be finishing up the last of my editing today/this weekend & will resume editing/sessions after the new year ; } My kids are at such fun ages that I want to take full advantage of every little fun thing we can do…whether that is baking cookies, going to see Santa, more cuddling time…I am totally in!!

Today is the last day to get in on the January mini sessions. Payment needs to be received today if interested in them.

I will be uploading images to facebook over the weekend for all of you patiently waiting for ME to post them as I would prefer they be watermarked on facebook for many reasons. I appreciate all of you whom wait for me to post! ; }

My mother was a wonderful person with a huge heart! It gave her all the pride in the world to give….no matter what little she had at times growing up! I told myself that I would try to pay it forward as often as I could every day now til the holidays & I have been doing it daily this week. It is a wonderful feeling!! The best was yesterday..Drove through McD’s…see a cute little old couple behind me in line…I thought it would be perfect to pay it forward right here & right now! So I tell the friendly, sweet pay lady that I want to pay for their meal or what not behind me…she smiled! Their total was 6.01! Perfect! I handed her the money after paying for ours & said…tell them happy holidays from us! ; } Drive forward to get my kids treats & as I drive away & I look in my back mirror…all I see is big smiles & both of them waving & waving with gratitude! What a rush it was….I waved & waved back with smiles! I think I had tears in my eyes….realizing how my mom felt when she was come home from town….beaming with joy…telling us she paid for the person in the drivethru behind her! It was awesome….I think I will do it every time I am in the drive through when I remember to! ; }

I know all too well how busy we all are in life these days but just stop & remember to pay it forward in every little way you can…a smile even sheds some light on some people. That $6.01 made my day & that cute little couples day! Nothing has to be too big for appreciation or just to show some love to those who really need it. Its the little things in life that make the world go around & for people to appreciate it & remember to do those little things! I will continue to pay it foward in any way I can this holiday season & will continue to after the holidays!

Hello all…..I have been a busy bee! I will get to posting all the amazing photos I have to show you all over the next few weeks in between family time & finishing up the last of my editing before the holidays. Early next week all my editing will be finished up before the holidays & I will be getting to all the orders & have them out for everyone who has ordered. If you have a session scheduled next week….editing will be finished up afte the holidays so I can spend the next few weeks preparing for the holidays & enjoying this wonderful time of year with my family. I will get back to the grind of things after the new year holiday. I will pop in & out with some fun postings hopefully of our family holiday fun as well! ; }

I will be taking limited sessions in January so I can work on many behind the scenes things that have been put on the back burner during my crazy busy fall season. Thanks to you all who continue to support me & ask me to capture memories for you for years & years to come! Such an honor!!

I am going to be offering “Baby Its Cold Outside” Mini sessions for January. These will be limited to an hour session, you can do a couple outfit changes if you wish, if you want to do them at your home depending on the age of your child that is an option, otherwise we can contact the Plains Art Museum as well <$50 extra for this venue per session> & they will be scheduled on a 1st come 1st serve basis.

$125 for 1-2 kids

$150 for 3-4 kids

$175 for a family session <immediate family only>

Payment for these sessions will be due in full at the time of booking & will need to be received by December 16th. I will be taking a limited number of these sessions so book today! You will receive a dvd of the best images from the session edited to my perfection with reprint release so you can print & do as you wish with the images. I adored capturing this couples love during their engagement session & I knew it would be a wonderful wedding after realizing how laid back & just in love they were. It was such an easy, fun wedding! They were up for anything & just really went with the flow. Great bridal party & just lots of fun….

Happy Friday everyone! Enjoy the weekend! It will be my 1st weekend off in a LONG time…I am so looking forward to snuggling with the kids, doing some shopping with my older girls & then princess day Sunday with my sweet baby girl!

…long time no posts! I know…I know! I apoligize! My October was insanely busy, I had sick kiddos for about 2 weeks straight & to be honest blogging & facebooking was not my priority with all that going on. With all that going on I got a little behind & I am slowly but surely playing catch up. Thanks to all of you for being extra patient….it is SO much appreciated! I plan to work, work & work as in edit this weekend between a bunch of family fun! This will be my 1st weekend off in a long, long time & I am SO looking forward to spending it with my kids! But in between that I will be focusing on editing so I can get dvd’s out so you all can enjoy the beautiful pictures I created for you!

I wrapped up editing 2 weddings recently which I always want to make special for each couple! I will blog about each wedding a little further when I get time…hopefully this week/weekend! But I wanted to show you a couple of my favorites for now!

SUPER sweet couple so in love! I really enjoyed this wedding! My cheeks hurt after coming home from the dance from laughing so hard! Gotta love that! Thanks again Michelle & Brad! It was amazing!!!

Then it was Shannon & Brent’s wedding! Most of you referred them as Barbie & Ken when I posted their engagement pictures! Gorgeous couple with such a sweet, tender love! Yet another super fun wedding! How lucky am I!

LOVE……WHAT I DO!!!

Hi everyone! I just wanted to post a real quick note.

I lost my cell phone last night on the way out of town to my dad’s birthday celebration! ; [ Totally bummed! I believe it is probably laying somewhere in the ditch somewhere from fargo to detroit lakes as I think I put it on the roof of my van while buckling the twins up before we left town. Searched high & low for it for hours last night & this morning but NO phone. It is such long way we went & who knows how long it could have stayed on the roof til. Good thing is we have insurance, bad thing is I will not get another one til later tonight or tomorrow {hopefully} so I will be without my cell. Another bad thing is that I will probably lose all those ocntacts so if you need to contact me please email me as I will not have access to text messages or my phone til I get this figured out! Hopefully later tonight!

I will say I am just a tad behind with editing so please be patient as I take my time to perfect your images for you. I am also finishing up 2 beautiful weddings which takes extra time in between my regular sessions. I greatly appreciate your patience to those of you who always wait patiently for my email & respect my work & time. It really means the world to me! I LOVE what I do, I take pride in what I do & take hours to perfect each & every session so that is only benefiting you. I am beyond greatful for all of you awesome clients that come back to me time & time again. I also have really enjoyed meeting lots of new clients this year…I hope to see you all year after year! To those of you who continue to support me with the sweet emails, kind words & just all the love….THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU! 

 Besides the fact that I had sick kids for a good 2 weeks….so that is time missed at the computer…I had teacher conferences & plenty of people trying to fit in their family sessions before the cold weather hits & amazingly….lots of new babies born! ; } Yay! So just another please be patient & I will email you just as soon as your dvd is ready. I will not be returning emails just to let you know I am still working on your images, Sorry! I just am trying to focus on the positive & getting everyone’s dvd’s out asap for each & everyone of you! If you are an out of town client & need your dvd mailed to you, please remember that I only make once a week trips to the post office & at that time your dvd will be mailed to you.

I have lots to post on my facebook page & lots to update my blog with & in time that will all come once things settle down & the cold weather comes.

I have such amazing clients that I wanted to share a couple of messages from them recently…..

 I know what it’s like to have all your kids down and out with illness…boy it is a crappy spot and sure will take it’s toll on a person. I figured you have lots of people going “wheres my pics” “wheres my pics” and not even noticing what YOU have been dealing with. I get that ALL the time so figured I would send a hug Hope you have a GREAT day!

I picked up the cd yesterday and I honestly LOVE the pictures! Thank you so much for doing such a wonderful job!! I appreciate it. Thank you again!! You rock

Oh how I LOVE my amazing clients…the ones who come back to me year after year…month after month, the wonderful new ones & for all of you I have yet to meet! Thank you…not only do you support my passion & love in honor of my beautiful mom but you support my family…my sweet family of 6! I am so greatful to be a stay at home mom & do this at night or on the side…I enjoy every minute of being home with my kids & have to remember that life is too short…I clearly know that by my beautiful mom passing way too soon so thank you for allowing me to do what I love & yet be a stay at home mommy still. Before I know it, the twins will be off to kindergarten & my oldest will be driving! Pure craziness!

I just wanted to apoligize for the blog being abandoned lately. My schedule is crazy busy, full of sessions that I am SO thankful for! Thanks to all of you for your support & all the kindness you have shown me! Makes me oh so happy! I have had a run of back luck with my kids being sick recently so I have tended to them & it has taken me back a tad bit on editing but I am still trying to stay focused on getting those dvd’s out within 3 to 4 weeks for regular sessions. Once your dvd is all ready for pickup,  <no pickup’s on weekends though as that is my time with my family & recently I have not been around on weekends as they have been booked solid with sessions too so> I will contact you via email to arrange a pick up time that works with my schedule along with your schedule. So please be patient & wait for my email as I will not be returning emails if you email me to ask where or when the dvd will be done! My time & work needs to be respected & per the information sheet you filled out it says 3 to 4 weeks for editing & at that time I will email you when it is ready & please wait for that email. THANKS SO MUCH IN ADVANCE! I appreciate it greatly! Most of you have received your dvd within 3 weeks recently & I am at about 4 now with the kids sick & that distracting my editing time a bit. If you have received your dvd please wait for me to post to facebook. Facebook is an added bonus that I offer to all of my amazing clients even though most of you are not wanting them to be posted to facebook right now & that is completely fine to wait til after the holidays but please if you want any or some posted….email me which ones & I will post them with my watermark as I have time. I want them on facebook with my watermark only for copyright concerns!  Please, please , please remember that & do not upload your entire dvd to facebook.

So please be patient as I am working my butt off with sessions along with editing as much as I can & still having a life with my kids during this crazy, busy season for me! I appreciate your interest in my photography! I feel so blessed & am thankful for each & everyone of you!

I have SO much to blog about & many, many great pictures to post & one of these nights I will get to all of those but for now I have lots of sessions to edit  & am trying to keep on with getting them out in a timely manner so I will leave you with a cute picture…..

This is the exact reason I do what I do!! How sweet is she? She is on my 1st year plan & travels to see me every 3 months from Rochester & that is WAY COOL to me! She has grown oh to much & continues to some how get cuter & cuter every time I see her! I can not wait to see her again at 1 year!
